By booking an appointment with Groom & Shine – Mobile Dog Spa, you acknowledge and agree to the following prices, policies, and service terms.
1. Booking & Deposits
- Appointment Only: Services are provided by booking only to ensure each pet receives undivided attention.
- New Client Deposit: A $30 deposit is required for all new clients. This deposit will be applied toward your final invoice.
- One-on-One Service: We groom only one dog at a time to maintain a calm and focused environment.
2. Cancellations & No-Shows
- Notice Period: We require at least 48 hours notice for any cancellations or rescheduling requests.
- Late Cancellations: Failure to provide 48 hours notice will result in the forfeiture of your deposit.
- No-Shows: Clients who are not present at the time of their scheduled mobile appointment may be charged the full service amount.
3. Travel Fees
Travel fees are determined by the distance from Stettler:
- Stettler Town Limits: No travel fee.
- 0–10 km outside town: $10.
- 10–30 km outside town: $20.
- 30+ km: Fees will be quoted individually based on distance.
4. Health, Coat Condition & Behaviour
- Matting: Additional fees of $20–$50 may apply for severely matted coats. For the comfort and safety of the dog, a humane shave-down may be required if matting is too severe to brush out.
- Difficult Coats: Additional charges may apply for difficult coat conditions or special handling requirements.
- Safety: For the safety of the groomer and the pet, grooming may be stopped immediately if a dog becomes unsafe to handle. Partial grooming fees may still apply in these instances.
5. Weather & Service Safety
Rescheduling: Appointments may be rescheduled at our discretion due to extreme weather or unsafe rural road conditions. We will contact you as soon as possible to find a new time that is safe for our mobile unit to travel.
6. Payment Terms
- Due Date: Payment is due in full at the time of service.
- Accepted Methods: We accept E-transfer, credit/debit, and cash.
- Pricing Variability: Please note that all listed prices are starting rates and may vary based on your dog’s size, temperament, and grooming frequency.
